Your free match against Rival

Without Pro you can play one full match against Rival every day. It counts once the match is decided, so a match you start and leave halfway does not use it up. A new one is ready after midnight on your iPhone's clock. Legs with friends, Around the Clock, the referee and all your stats are always free, with no limit.

Playing with friends

Tap Play with friends on the home screen and add up to three names next to your own. Everyone throws in turn and types their score on the same iPhone; the chalkboard keeps every visit, so nobody has to remember what was thrown. Your friends do not need the app or an account, just a name.

Moving to a new iPhone

Your legs and stats are stored on your iPhone and are not sent anywhere. When you set up a new iPhone from a backup of the old one, they come along with the rest of your app data. Rival Pro comes back with Restore, as described below.

Restoring a purchase

Bought Rival Pro on another iPhone, or reinstalled the app? Open the app, tap the settings button at the top right of the home screen, tap View next to Rival Pro, then tap Restore under the button. Your purchase comes back for the Apple Account that bought it.

Cancelling a subscription

Subscriptions are handled by Apple. Open the Settings app on your iPhone, tap your name, then Subscriptions, and choose Rival Pro. You keep Pro until the end of the period you paid for. Lifetime is a single purchase and never renews.

For a refund, use Apple's "Report a Problem" page with your Apple Account. We cannot issue refunds ourselves, because we never see your payment.

How Rival adapts

Rival starts at the level you picked when you opened the app for the first time. After every leg against him he moves towards the average of your last ten legs, at most six points per leg. You can see his level and rank on the home screen. Read more on how the dartbot throws.

The referee is too loud, or too quiet

Tap the speaker at the top of the match screen to turn the referee off or on; the same switch is in Settings. He stays silent when your phone is on silent. He speaks with your iPhone's own voice: for a more natural one, download an enhanced voice under Settings, Accessibility, Spoken Content, Voices.

Your data

Your legs, stats and settings stay on your iPhone. There is no account and no tracking. Deleting the app deletes them. Read the full privacy policy.

Ideas and bugs
